The body of work is layered with several aspects of being a woman who nurtures, nourishes, protects, and provides selflessly. The subject explores the journey of women traversing through generations, their triumphs, and struggles through the passage of time. Women experience a loss of identity in the process, sacrificing their individuality in a matrix of circumstances. They willingly let go of a bit of their ‘self’ to discover the joy in giving and unknowingly walk into an endless cycle, left with very little of their own to linger on.
The three artworks present 3 facets of a woman’s life-exploring matters of Faith, as a child, a young adult and a mature woman.
